Steven Wyer also serves as Managing Director of Reputation Advocate. Previously, Wyer was involved in a wide range of professions including financial services, creative and marketing services including television production.
In 1992, Steven Wyer launched the direct marketing firm Wyer Creative Communications, Inc. Largely focused on consumer financial services, Wyer Creative utilized data rich information and proprietary telephony services to leverage the efforts of 400+ employees stationed in several locations.
In 1999, the company was invited to become a member of the Nashville Chamber of Commerce Hall of Fame in the category of private business. At the time, Wyer Creative had experienced exceptional growth for five consecutive years. The firm entered relationships with state government, benefited from technology grants and partnered with Fort Campbell in Clarksville, Tennessee, to expanded employment opportunities.
The clients of Steven Wyer at Wyer Creative Communications included Equitable Securities, First Union Mortgage and consumer credit, H&R Block, First USA, Banc One Mortgage, Chase Bank and GE Mortgage and Finance. Steven Wyer and Wyer Creative Communications served the nation’s largest residential mortgage lenders by facilitating mortgage origination, refinancing, HELOC, and Title 1 lending.
Steven Wyer has served as a valued consultant for numerous financial institutions focused on institutional asset management, mortgage lending and consumer lending and collections. His professional memberships have included the eMarketing Association, The Debt Buyers Association, The Direct Marketing Association, The Mortgage Bankers Association, American Teleservices Association and the National Association of Securities Dealers. From 2001 through 2005, Steven Wyer also helmed two firms that acquired, managed and collected on nearly one billion dollars of consumer debt.
